Recent projects –

Senior friendly bench:
In 2025 2 friends reached out to us to make a bench available to enjoy the park when you have dodgy knees. We joined forces to raise one of our existing benches by placing recycled plastic sleepers under the bench legs. Bingo, our senior friends can continue to make the most of the park!

Removal of dilapidated railings:
In 2024 we were sponsored by EF Education First, Headington Action & Sandra Homewood Funerals to replace some ugly fencing on the gates towards St Clements Church with some repurposed railings. We intend to re-imagine this old route by re-instating the Lime Walk with some new trees and some wood chippings. In 2025, we have funding again from Grundon Waste Management (facilitated by Trust for Oxfordshire Environment) for two new notice boards, one of which will talk about this old carriageway to the church.

P3 People, Plants, Pollinators:
Over 2023/2024 our entrances saw a major transformation with a variety of flowering plants selected to attract pollinators.
This revamp was supported our generous sponsor Grundon Waste Management Ltd. over 2023. The continued planting over 2024 was with help from Headington’s Waitrose and Finders Keepers plus CIL funds disbursed by Headington Action.
